Chaired by the Late Right Honourable Pierre Elliott Trudeau with opening address by then Prime Minister Jean Chrétien, the meeting of eighteen former heads of state took place in Vancouver British Columbia and MACI was subcontracted by the  GLOBE Foundation to plan and deliver the logistics for this event of great international significance.
